Today’s reading list… We may not get through every one of these books from our home library, but we’ll try. If we do – or don’t – finish, we’ll be back tomorrow with more!
Flashback to our recent visit to The Boulders Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s always a favorite getaway destination!

The Boulders is surrounded by rugged beauty and endless desert panoramas punctuated with epic 12-million-year-old granite boulder formations.

The 160 acre resort features luxurious private guest Casitas and Villas and two, 18-hole championship golf courses designed by Jay Morrish.

It’s tee time! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on our next visit!

To pass the time, I’m documenting the weirdest stuff I have in my house… Here’s Mr. Gasser, who reminds me of my auto shop teacher at Millikan High School, Mr. Schafer.
He was one of my favorite teachers, but strongly suggested that I might not make a very good auto mechanic. I’m glad I took his advice…

Flashback to our group hike in Palm Springs’ Andreas Canyon a few weeks ago… Trying something a little different in post.

Along the central coast of California sits one of my favorite destinations, the beach town of Los Osos-Baywood Park at the south end of Morro Bay.
Many fond memories were made here, going back to the ‘70s. The town remains pretty much the same after all these years. I took this photo on my last visit in 2018.

A Southern California treasure we love to visit are The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in San Diego County.
Our hearts go out to all the hard working people who tend flowers and pick each by hand with great care and love.
Times are very tough for working people like these flower tenders. So, these photos are dedicated to them and the families they support.
Photographed these beautiful people and their Tecolote® Giant #Ranunculus #flowers on March 16, 2018.
