Roy’s Motel Cafe – Best of 2019

Roy’s Motel & Cafe in Amboy, CA opened as a gas station in 1938 along Route 66 and thrived until Interstate 40 opened and diverted traffic off the historic route in 1972

I made this shot a few months before the iconic monument sign was restored and re-lit last month.
